South Bend, IN-The IPFW Men's and Women's cross country teams competed in the Gold Division of the Notre Dame Invitational over the weekend.

The men were led by Hunter Paris who finished the race in 41st place with a time of 25:51.  Rounding out IPFW's top five individual finishers were Mark Green (27:15, 138), Garret Bradtmueller (27:47, 162), Russell Wilk (27:54, 170), and Ben Townsend (28:38,187).

IPFW newcomer Sussy Odipo crossed the finish line first for the women's team at 19:12.  She was joined by Valerie Hardesty (19:18, 95), Ashley Porter (20:09, 153), Annina Gruber (20:39, 177), and Beth Hoekstra (21:25, 199). 

IPFW will take the next two weeks off to prepare for the Chili Pepper Invitational which will be held in Fayetteville, AZ on October 13, 2007.
