Fort Wayne, IN-IPFW's Hunter Paris and Crystina Martinez garnered the Summit League's Male and Female Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors. 

Paris reset his own IPFW record in the Pepperdine Invitational.  He finished tenth out of 88 runners with an 8K time of 25:09.71.  Paris' time was the fifth best in the Summit League this season. 

Martinez broke the IPFW record in 6K with time of 21:04.77, shattering the previous record by nearly 50 seconds.  It is also the fasted 6K time in the Summit League this season.  She led the 'Dons to a fifth place finish in a field of twelve teams that included regionally ranked Cal State-Fullerton, USC, and UCLA. 

The 'Dons will return to action on Friday, Septemeber 28 at the Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, IN.
