2008 Season
Kim ran a season-best 24:14 at the 6K Chili Pepper Invitational at the Unversity of Arkansas. Posted a time of 24:43 at The Summit League Championships. She was named to the 2008-09 Summit League All-Academic Team.
High School
Matusik was named All-PCC Conference for four seasons at Boone Grove High School in Valparaiso, Indiana. She was also named All-PCC in track and field. Graduated with honors and was a member of the Academic National Honor Society.
Personal
Kim is the daughter of James and JoAnne Matusik. She has two sisters, Amy and Amber. She will be majoring in Finance at IPFW.
