2006: Finished the year with 209 digs, 13 service aces, 18 assists and five kills...Schwartz played in 31 matches throughout the year, the fourth most by an IPFW freshman...Also saw time in 98 sets, marking the ninth highest freshman total...The 209 digs is the seventh highest freshman total at IPFW...Her 13 aces is the 10th highest freshman total...Had eight double-figure dig games during the year, with all eight coming in the final 18 games of the season...Over the last 18 games, Schwartz averaged 8.9 digs per match, opposed to the 3.8 she averaged in the first 13 matches of the year...Five times during the year she had a pair of service aces, with three of those; October 7 against North Dakota State, October 23 at Central Michigan, and November 11 against Utah Valley State; ranking inside of the top 10 in IPFW freshman history for digs in four-, five- and four-set matches, respectively.

High School: Schwartz was a two-sport athlete at Adams Central...In volleyball, she was named to the All-State First Team in 2005 and helped lead the Jets to the 2003 and 2005 state semi-finals...She was named to the Indiana All-Star team in 2005 after setting the school record in assists...Schwartz was a 2004 and 2005 All-Allen County Athletic Conference (ACAC) First Team member and was named to the league's Honorable Mention squad in 2003...In basketball, Schwartz set the school record for steals, and received the HEART award in 2004 and 2006...She was twice named to the All-ACAC First Team (2003-04 and 2005-06) and to the honorable mention squad once (2004-05)...She earned Academic All-Conference honors for both volleyball and basketball during her senior year.
