Hillsdale, MI-IPFW track and field traveled to Hillsdale College to compete in the Gina Relays this past weekend. Leading the 'Dons were Ashley Ritchey (Leo, IN/Leo) and Angie Suel, who finished first in the 10,000m run, and third in the Heptathlon respectively.
Ritchey, a distance standout all season, reset her school mark in the 10,000m run yet again, with a time of 36:16.12. Ritchey placed first of 22 competitors.
Suel has been training for her heptathlon debut during the past few meets by competing in multiple running, jumping, and throwing events. At third, she placed ahead of several tough competitors, including those hailing from Michigan and Michigan State of the Big 10, and Bowling Green of the MAC.
