2007-2008

Janek excelled both in singles and doubles in her junior season. In singles, she went 10-12, while playing the majority of her matches at the #2 spot. In doubles, Janek went 15-1, playing most of her matches with partner Amy Recht. For her efforts, Janek was named Player of the Week in March 2008 and won the Coaches Award in 2007. She also shined in the classroom and was named an ITA Scholar Athlete in 2008.

2005-06

Janek started her freshman campaign at #1 singles. She finished the year with a 12-18 record. In doubles, Janek paired with Miller at #3 and finished with a 17-9 record. At the Independent Tournament the pair went undefeated, 3-0. Good singles wins over Northern Colorado, Niagara, Wright State and Oakland. Prep Janek was named to the All-District team while at Northrop. She received an Academic Honors Diploma.

Personal

Janek is the daughter of Michael and Sherry Janek, and has three siblings, Nisa, Tsali and Kaki. Janek plans on majoring in Art Education while at IPFW.
