2008: Played in 38 games during the year, starting 27...Recorded her first collegiate hit on March 9 against Butler...Had a hit in three straight games, Butler, and both games on march 10 against Yale and Penn...Drove in her first collegiate run against Penn on March 10...Stole bases in back-to-back games on April 6 and 8 against UMKC and Ball State...Had a five-game hit streak late in the season, starting on April 30 against Wright State, and continuing until May 9 against Centenary in the Summit League Tournament.

High School: Team Most Valuable Player in 2007...Was named to the All-Metro softball team...Helped Riley High School to sectional wins in 2004 and 2006, and NIC Championships in 2005 and 2007...Was a four-year letterwinner each in softball and volleyball.

Personal: Daughter of Bill and Katie Swanson...Has two sisters, Jenny and Maggie, both of whom play softball at the University of Indianapolis...Majoring in speech and hearing therapy.
