HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year starter at Lakeland High School...Was Lakeland's Offensive and Defensive MVP, and was named to the NECC All-Conference squad...Played in the Indiana Northeast All-Star Game...Batted .456 during her senior year, while setting a school record with six hits in a game...Was a member of a Team USA traveling team that played in Australia through USA Athletics International...Helped her travel team, the Indiana Avalanche, to the 2006 State Championship, and earning a qualifying spot into the World Series...She was also a standout soccer player, earning team MVP three times.
