HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year starter for the Penn Kingsmen, and was a three-time All-Northern Indiana Conference First-Team selection...Batted .387 as a senior, with an on-base percentage of .466...Was a member of the Michiana Inferno for travel softball, and had also played for the Michiana Mystique (2005-2007), and the OC Crush (2001-04)...Along with current IPFW teammate Heather Genovese,helped Penn to a sectional championship in 2005, 2006 and 2008, falling in the first round of the regional championships in all three seasons...Also competed on the Metro squad in the inaugural Sports Fest, consisting of seniors that comprise four teams in the greater Michiana area, divided by geographic areas (East, West, Metro and Michigan).
