Ladies Take 14th at Lady Irish Invite
Notre Dame, IN -- The Mastodons traveled to the Notre Dame Lady Irish Invitational for some tough competition over the weekend. IPFW finished 14th, while facing three Big East, three MAC and two Big 10 competitors in the field of fourteen.
Cincinnati took the title with a final team score of 919 over three rounds. The Bearcats were 55 strokes over par as a team. IPFW finished with a 1028 in 14th place.

Hillery Wilson of Cincinnati took medalist with a 218, two over par. Stephany Fleet of Eastern Michigan was the runner-up with a 221. Fleet was five over par.

IPFW was led by Jillian Speece, tied for 49th with a 246. She was followed by her sister, Jacque Speece in 61st with a 252.


The Mastodons will head to the Northern Illinois for the Huskie Classic on October 1-2.

IPFW will host the IPFW Fall Classic on October 16-17 at Deer Track Golf Course.
