Fort Wayne, IN - IPFW placed three ladies on the 2006-07 Division I Independent Women's Golf All-Academic Team. Nicolle Geyer, Rachel Parks and Alison Rathsman each posted a 3.2 cumulative GPA to be named to the team.

Rathsman led the 'Dons with a 3.59 cumulative GPA. Rathsman is an Indianapolis native and is majoring in Chemistry.

Parks, also a sophomore, posted a 3.4 GPA in Communications.

Geyer, a junior, has a 3.26 GPA in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

Maviann Schuler of North Dakota State led the team with a 4.0 as a junior and pharmacy major.

Overall the team had a 3.6 team GPA with 25 team members.

The Division I Independent Women's Golf All-Academic team was selected by sports information directors at member institutions. Nominations from each school were accepted for student-athletes who had at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and had reached a sophomore athletic standing.
