Indianapolis, IN - The IPFW women's golf team headed to in-state foe Butler for the Butler Fall Invitational. The Mastodons finished fourth in the 36 hole tournament.

Jillian Speece finished tied for 11th with a 159 over two rounds. Alison Rathsman was just one shot behind with a 160, tied for 13th.

Butler won their own tournament, finishing with a 602. IPFW had a 644 for the tournament.

Angela Gauck of Marian College was medalist after a play-off. She had a 147, just five over par.

The Mastodons will now prepare for their own tournament at Deer Track on October 15th and 16th.
