2005-06 Season: Johnson finished off a successful junior campaign moving up in the All-time records and setting a new IPFW record. Johnson connected for 22 of 23 free throw shots against North Dakota State on Feb 26, 2006 to break a record which stood for 15 years. Overall for the season, Johnson averaged 14.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg and 3.3 apg. She was named Independent Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 28 and was named to the Second Team All-Division I Independent Women's Basketball team. Johnson led the team last year in free throw made with 144 made, averaging 5.1/game. She also led in attempts with 6.5 FT attempts/game. Johnson led the Mastodons in rebounds, assists, steals and minutes played in her junior year. Johnson hit 20+ points in six games last year, setting a new personal best against NDSU with 32 points. She also set a new personal best in rebounds with 11 against Radford on Jan. 7. 2004-05 Season: Johnson started all 28 games for the Mastodons, averaging 27.3 minutes per game...From the field Johnson was 93 of 241 (38.6%)...At the charity stripe she was 68 of 88 (77.3%)...Johnson averaged 9.5 points and 3.3 rebounds per game...Recorded team game highs twice in points, rebounds, and blocked shots and five times in assists, and six times in steals...Set personal bests in points (18 vs. Bowling Green State, 11/19/04), three point field goals with 2 vs. BGSU and steals with 5 versus Drake. 2003-04 Season: Johnson started four of her 23 games averaging 18 minutes per game...She shot 32 of 89 (.360) from the field...From the three-point line Johnson made 2 of 11 (.182)...At the free-throw line she made 32 of 42 (.762)...Johnson recorded 48 rebounds, 33 assists, and 54 turnovers for the season...She also recorded 19 steals and one block. Before Coming to IPFW: In her senior year, Johnson received a blue ring after her high school team defeated for the Perry Meridian IHSAA State Championship and also finished the season with the perfect record of 26 0. Johnson led her team in assists with an impressive 171. Personal: Born Oct. 15, 1984. Johnson is a general studies major.
