Mastodons Finish Sweep of Oral Roberts 96-83
Fort Wayne, IN - Two days after holding Centenary to a Division I school-record-low 28 points including just nine in the first half, the IPFW Mastodons flexed its offensive muscles to the tune of 57 first-half points on 72.4 percent shooting, the third highest scoring half in IPFW's Division I history, before holding on late in a 96-83 victory over Summit League-leading Oral Roberts on Monday evening. Mastodon Defense Dominant in 40-Point Win
Fort Wayne, IN - The IPFW's third annual Pink Out, which is to raise funds to help find a cure for breast cancer, the Mastodon defense held Centenary to just nine first half points, and 28 points over the full 40 minutes, both IPFW Division I records for defense, as the Blue and White held the Ladies of Centenary to 21.7 percent shooting (10-of-46) in a 68-28 Summit League win.
