Because of the immense success of the last two Pink Out events, the IPFW women's basketball team will be hosting their third annual Pink Out on February 6, at 1:30 PM against Centenary College at the Memorial Coliseum, to help raise funds for breast cancer awareness and the search for a cure.

IPFW will be donating $1 from every ticket sold to go towards breast cancer research. This year, all of the proceeds will benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer, which has helped raise over $8.5 million, including $1.75 million in 2008 alone, to fund endowments to the IU School of Medicine to support the Vera Bradley Chair in Oncology, and established the Vera Bradley Center for Breast Cancer Research.

The game is the first contest of a women's/men's double header, with both contests coming against Summit League opponent Centenary, and the men's game is tentatively scheduled to start at 4:00 PM.

Tickets for breast cancer survivors are free through pre-registration. Survivors can register by contacting Peggy Mossing at 260-481-6643, or via email at mossingp@ipfw.edu. Guests of survivors can purchase tickets for $10, which includes tickets to both games, access to the pregame reception, and a Pink Out gift. Tickets for the general public are $12.50 for a lower level ticket, and $8.50 for an upper level ticket, and both include admission for the men's game. Groups and companies can purchase 50 or more tickets for $5 apiece.

For complete ticket information go to the Tickets Page at GoMastodons.com, or contact IPFW Ticket Manager Zach Sweers directly at 260-481-6372 or via email at sweersz@ipfw.edu. For information how to donate to the cause, contact Nelligan Sports Marketing Sales Manager Zack McKay at 260-481-0287, or at zmckay@nelligansports.com.
