2009 Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic Men's Results Get Acrobat Reader

Lake Buena Vista, FL - The IPFW men's cross country team ran to a very respectable 13th place at the 14th annual Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on Saturday evening.

Junior Randall Quirk paced the Mastodons, as he has for the last two seasons, finishing a team-best 51st in an 8K time of 28:12.40.  Quirk's average time in the mile for the event was 5:40.50.

Quirk was followed closely by junior Austin Cass who finished in a time of 28:25.80 which placed him 55th.

Junior Steven Zimmerman also ran a nice meet, finishing the course in a time of 28:39.60 which was good enough for 61st place.

Rounding out the top-five for IPFW were freshman Stefan Bolger (25:39.90, 90th) and sophomore Alex Quick (29:37.50, 92nd)

IPFW finished the meet with a total team score of 349.

The top-five team finishers were:
Kennesaw State University:    42 points
Florida Southern University:  98 points
Florida Atlantic University:  129 points
Nova Southeastern: 145 points
Mercer University:  152 points

The Mastodons return to action next Saturday at the Sam Bell Invitational, hosted by Indiana University.
