Indiana Intercollegiate Big State/Little State Team Results Get Acrobat Reader

Terre Haute, IN - The IPFW men's cross country team ran to a 15th place finish in the Indiana Intercollegiate Big State/Little State meet on Friday evening in Terre Haute.

Twenty-three teams from the state of Indiana were represented in the meet. The Indiana Hoosiers took the team title, followed by host Indiana State, Purdue, Butler and IUPUI.

IPFW junior Randall Quirk was the 'Dons top runner, finishing the 8K course in a time of 26:55.  He managed to knock 12-second off of his 8K time in last weekend's IPFW Invitational.

Junior Austin Cass, getting his first action of the season, was the Mastodons' second place finisher in a time of 28:03 which was good enough for 75th.

The 'Dons other three timed runners were, freshman Stefan Bolger (28:27, 89th), junior Steve Zimmerman (29:18, 107th) and sophomore Alex Quick (29:41, 115th).

There were 170 runners in the event.

IPFW will now take some time off to prepare for the Disney Cross Country Classic in Orlando, Florida on October 10.
