2007 Season

Stewart set a pair of IPFW school records in 2007 and is poised to break another in 2008. Stewart broke his own mark for Block Assists in a season with 156. He also broke his mark for Hitting Percentage in a season at .458. He is currently 5th on the IPFW All-Time list for career Block Assists at 415 and should own that record by the end of `08. Was named First Team All-MIVA in `07. He was also named to the MIVA All-Tournament Team. Finished 7th in the nation in Hitting Percentage. Ranked 4th in the nation in Blocks Per Game at 1.56. Had a career-high 22 kills vs. Loyola on 2/2. Tied a career mark with 13 total blocks at Puerto Rico on 3/10. Had a career-high 3 solo blocks in that match. Named to the MIVA All-Academic Team.

2006 Season

"Big Red" lit it up in 2006. Named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division I-II Men's National Player of the Week on 5/2. He was the first Mastodons since 2003 to earn that honor (Jeff Ptak-3/24/03). Also named the MIVA Player of the Week on 5/2. Named to the MIVA Tournament Most Valuable Player. Selected MIVA 2nd Team All-Conference. Ranked 12th in the nation in hitting percentage (.430), and 6th in blocking (1.52 bpg). Ranked 4th in the conference in hitting percentage (.411), 3rd in blocking (1.44 bpg), and 18th in points per game (3.06). Overall, averaged 2.28 kills and 1.52 blocks per game. Hit a season-high 1.000 vs. Mercyhurst on 3/24. Killed a season-high 21 balls against Ball State on 4/27. Had three digs on two occasions (1/14 vs. Juniata and 1/21 vs. Cal State Northridge) Had two assists against UCLA in the national semi-final on 5/4. Combined for a season-high 13 blocks against Pacific (1 solo/12 blocks) on 3/4.

2005 Season

Stewart had an outstanding freshman campaign in the middle for the 'Dons. Ranked 4th in the conference in blocks per game with 1.22. In all, Stewart finished conference play with nine solo blocks and 63 block assists for 72 total blocks. Overall he had 12 solos and 115 block assists. Stewart played in all 30 IPFW matches. He put down 181 kills, averaging 1.62 per game. He had a hitting percentage of .351 with seven services aces. Had a season best .625 hitting percentage against Cal. State Northridge on 3/26. Put down a season-high 11 kills on two occasions (1/15 vs. Juniata and 1/28 vs. Lewis), and had two service aces against Quincy on 4/8.

Was named the Graduating Athlete of the Year at St. Mary's D.C.V.I.
