2008 Season

Corey Stewart played in a total of four matches last season, making the most of his nine sets on the court. Against in-state rival Ball State 3/7 Stewart dished out a career-high 45 assists on 100 attempts. He logged the only kill on his career that night also. Stewart played in at least two sets against Quincy on 3/1, and at Loyola on 3/22 totalling a combined of 35 assists. Also handed out five assists at Ball State on 3/21. Set a career best .719 at Loyola 3/22 setting 23-32. Also dug up a career best seven attacks vs. Ball State on 3/7.

2007 Season

Stewart saw action in 13 matches for IPFW in 2007. Had a season-high three points at Loyola-Chicago on 1/19. Those three points came as Stewart aces the Ramblers three-times in that match. Had two assists on two three occasions; 1/20 at Clarke, 3/8 at the University of Puerto Rico, and on 3/30 against Mercyhurst at the Hilliard Gates Sports Center. Had two digs on the year, 3/10 at the University of Puerto Rico and 1/20 at Clarke College. Stewart was also named to the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association All-Academic Team.

2006 Season

Stewart was a red-shirt during the 2006 men's volleyball season.

High School

Stewart played high school volleyball at St. Mary's District Collegiate and Vocational Institute in Ontario. In 2004, Stewart was named the St Mary's DCVI team Most Valuable Player after leading the Salukis to victory in the Western Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association WOSSAA `A' Championship.

Personal

Corey is the son of Gavin and Joanne Stewart. He has two siblings, a sister Lauren and a brother, Josh, who is an alum of the men's volleyball program. Majoring in biology/pre-med.
