2010 Season
Selected by league coaches to the 2010 MIVA Preseason All-Conference squad ... named MIVA Offensive Player of the Week (Feb. 15) ... through the first ten matches of the season, his 5.42 kills per set ranked him third in the nation ... posted a season-best 35 kills against Lewis (Feb. 5) ... posted double-digit kills in nine of the first ten matches of the season ... had a five-match streak of 20+ kill games (23, 20, 25, 28, 35) ... carried a .361 hitting percentage on 382 total attacks through the first ten matches of the year ... hit at a .475 clip en route to 23 kills against Loyola ... tallied double-digits in digs at Ohio State (Jan. 15) with 10 ... amassed a career-high six service aces in a four-set win over Rutgers-Newark (Jan. 29).
2009 Season
Led the 'Dons in both kills (350) and total attacks (854) during the year ... averaged 3.80 kills/set in 92 total sets ... tallied 17 service aces and finished second on the team in digs (153) ... totaled 82 blocks on the year as well ... had 25 kills in a four set match with Penn State (Feb. 21) ... logged a pair of aces on five separate occasions ... had a season-high seven blocks in a five-set match with Ball State (Apr. 11) ... saw a season-best 59 total attacks against Rutgers-Newark (Mar. 27) ... named second team all-MIVA for his stellar sophomore season.
2008 Season
Shank played in 21 of the IPFW's 27 matches during the season, seeing action in 48 sets ... totaled 39 kills including a career-high nine markers at George Mason (Mar. 29) ... Shank had three service aces vs. Quincy (Mar. 1), and had two matches with six digs - at Lewis (Feb. 15) and against Loyola (Feb. 29) ... Leads IPFW returning outside hitters in points (46.5) ... Hit a .571 attack percentage vs. Quincy (Mar. 1), his best with at least three kills ... Named to the 2008 MIVA Conference All-Academic Team.
High School
Darryl Shank comes to IPFW from Saunders Secondary School in London, Ontario, Canada. With the Sabres, Shank was a three-time Quad-A Provincial Champion. He was also named Volleyball Most Valuable Player. A standout in the classroom as well as on the volleyball court, Shank graduated with an Award of Excellence.

Darryl is the son of Yvon and Sandra Shank. He has a sister, Elisse. Majoring general studies.
