2006 Season

Vitor Oliveira appeared in nine matches in 2006. Averaged 0.26 kills and 1.05 digs a game. Dug up 20 balls and had five kills. Three of those kills came against Clarke on 3/25 at the Gates Center. Put down two balls vs. Juniata on 1/14. Had a season-high six digs on two occasions (1/28 at Loyola-Chicago and 2/4 at Juniata). Had an assist at Juniata on 2/4 and a block vs. Clarke 3/25.

Before Coming to IPFW

Oliveira brings a wealth of international experience to the Mastodons, from his native Brazil. He was part of a champion state team in 1998, 1999, and 2000. He was a member of the 2001 junior Paulista Championship team. That team also took third place in 2002. In 2003, Oliveira's squad won the "Copa Unisinos" University Championship. That team was also runner-up in 2004.
