2007 Season Graydon Ainsworth saw action in 39 games for IPFW in 2007. He averaged 1.33 kills per game. Ainsworth also averaged 1.03 blocks per game. He fired off 6 service aces. Hit a career-high .667 against his old team (Rutgers-Newark) at the Hilliard Gates Sports Center on 4/13. Hit .571 against Quincy on 3/31. Had a career-high 10 kills at Long Beach State in the LBSU Active Ankle Classic on 3/16. Registered 15.0 points in the same match. Ainsworth put up a season-high three assists vs. California Baptist, also in the Active Ankle Classic. Had digs on five occasions in 2007. Registered 8 block assists vs. Long Beach State on 3.16. Will be looked upon to provide depth at both middle blocker and the setter's positions. Ainsworth's work in the classroom garnered him Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association All-Academic honors for the 2007 season. 2006 Season Ainsworth transferred to IPFW this year from Rutgers Newark. In his sophomore campaign as a Scarlet Raider, Ainsworth appeared in 25 of 30 matches and was second on the team with 191 assists. High School Ainsworth attended Francis Libermann Catholic High School in Scarborough, Ontario where his was a threat on the court as well as in the classroom, being named an Ontario Scholar in 2004.
