Men's Tennis Falls to, 0-3 :: IPFW beaten at Xavier, 6-1

Cincinnati, OH - Freshman Francisco Siguad was the only Mastodon able to break through against Xavier this weekend, as the Musketeers topped IPFW, 6-1 in men's tennis action.

Siguad won his match over Adam Shaeffer at No. 6 singles in straight-sets, 7-5, 6-2.

Senior Carlos Gonzales, returning from injury last season, continues to battle at No. 1. Gonzales dropped a three-setter to Xavier's Chris Herrlinger, 6-7 (4), 7-5, 7-6 (4).

With the win, Xavier evens its record at 1-1, while the Mastodons fall to 0-3.

The IPFW men return to action Thursday afternoon, traveling to Muncie, Indiana to face Ball State. Match time is 1:00 p.m.
