Mitson played #1 singles while at Carroll High School. During high school, he was named to the All-NHC team and All-District team all four years. He was All-State Honorable Mention three years and the captain of his team.

Born February 27, 1985. Son of Chris and Susan Mitson. He has two brothers, Ozzie and Mickey. Majoring in secondary education.
