As one of the top players on the team, Gama competed well for the Mastodons at the number two singles slot and number two doubles position. In singles, Gama went 9-14 and 4-2 against Summit League opponents. In doubles, paired with partner Luis Maselli, the 'Don duo led the team in wins, with 7-10 season record.
High School
Felipe attended the Instituto Maria Auxiliadora in Natal, Brazil. Gama transferred to IPFW from Eastern Illinois. As a freshman for the Panthers, he went 12-15 in singles and 2-5 in doubles.

Felipe is the son Ricardo and Paula Gama, and has one sister, Luciana. Felipe is a Business major at IPFW.
