2009 Season
McMillen put aside the freshmen nerves, and from day one contributed to the Mastodon men's golf team. In the spring, he posted a 76.1 scoring average, while hitting 58% of the greens and 59% of fairways in regulation. McMillen's lowest round was a 68 at the North-South Collegiate hosted by Butler University.

High School
McMillen came to IPFW from Peru High School, where he was a four-year letterwinner from and a two-year team captain (junior and senior). He was named to the MIC All-Conference team as a sophomore and junior, and was the conference champion as a senior. He was a two-time IHSAA state tournament qualifier, under the direction of head coach Doug Muzzillo.

Personal
Johnny is the son of John and Beth McMillen, and has one sister, Elizabeth. He is a Business Management major at IPFW.
