The team handed out bottled water, high fives, and encouragement to walkers outside of Cole Commons on the IPFW campus.  The participants had the option of walking the 1-mile Strides for Strokes or the 3-mile Family Fun Walk to raise money for the American Heart Association.

Of the experience, IPFW Assistant Coach Gerad Good stated, "Our staff and players were really excited to be a part of an event like the Heart and Stroke Walk which aids such a tremendous cause. We had beautiful weather, our players were really enthusiastic, and the participants had a great time walking to raise money for the American Heart Association."
