On IPFW's second-half comeback...

"I think we wore Indiana State down.  I think they got tired.  I thought for a five minute stretch the game was in our grasp, but we miss an easy layup and make a couple of silly fouls, and it got away from us."

On losing close games...

"We've got to figure out how to win these games down the stretch.  The same thing happened with Valpo.  We've got to believe that we can win these basketball games.  I think our mentality is to feel our way through it, and if things don't go our way, we ultimately lose hope.  We've got to believe we can beat these teams, because we are fully able of doing that."

"I think we had so much success going inside, and we almost just started to stand still and throw it inside, and we didn't convert every time...we'd get one shot and they'd come down and score.  It was one of those things, we probably should have moved a little bit more and not been so intent on getting it inside."

On senior forward Trent Wurtz...

"I think what he does is bring great enthusiasm and effort and attacks things.  He got the boards viciously a couple of times, and I think that is leadership."
