Rochester College vs. IPFW Quotes
Wednesday, November 15, 2006
IPFW 77, Rochester College 44

IPFW
Head Coach Dane Fife

"I thought we did a very good job defensively. We held them to a couple of shot-clocks. I thought our focus tonight was to put more pressure on the ball and work on our inside post defense, and I think we made great strides tonight."

"I challenged our kids at halftime, I said that they would not get 20 points in the second half. They got 21, but I was satisfied with our effort. We're trying to focus on defense and rebounding. If your more focused on the defensive end, and not so worried about score, score, score, the offensive end will come easier."

IPFW
Junior Forward DeWitt Scott

"Confidence is a funny thing. The first one or two (triples) you are just getting warm, where you are just taking the shot, but after that you feel like nobody can stop you."

"We wanted to come out with energy. We wanted to come with a lot of fire, especially of the bench, and that's what led to the defense and rebounding. Hopefully we can take that into the Indiana State game Sunday."
