IPFW Head Coach Dane Fife Opening Statement... "I've got to give our guys a lot of credit. We were down four with around two minutes to go, fought back, made big shots, Jaraun Burrows making some layups, and it's good to see all of our guys making plays. I was very impressed with our defense down the stretch. I thought we made the right plays to prevent baskets. I was very proud of the way we clamped down as the game wore on. It really feels go to get a win and certainly against a future conference foe." On the play of Jaraun Burrows... "I think we are all watching Jaraun Burrows grow up right before our eyes, which is fascinating because he literally improves every time he steps out on the floor, and his confidence continues to grow. We knew that Jaraun would take some time (to get used to the Division I game)...generally junior college kids do take some time. Jaraun has an inner fire that is rare in kids." Junior forward DeWitt Scott On the importance of the win... "It was big, for the fact that they are a Mid-Con team with us going into the Mid-Con next year. It was good to get a quality win against a good team at home for the fans." Junior forward Jaraun Burrows On the final basket... "All game I was setting down-screens and ball-screens for Jakari (Johnson) and it was open. So when it came down to it, I came out and set a screen then rolled to the basket. They weren't guarding it the whole night, so we came out with it and it worked. Coach Fife told me to be ready and go strong to the hole, and that's what I did.
