Tony Jasick begins his fifth season on the coaching staff of Dane Fife. In 2007-08, Jasick was promoted from assistant coach to associate head coach. In his first four seasons, coach Jasick helped IPFW to Division-I records for wins and saw forward Deilvez Yearby selected as The Summit Leagues' Sixth Man of the Year. In the 2007-08 season former Mastodon Jaraun Burrows was named to The Summit League All-Second Team. Under Jasick's watch, former forward DeWitt Scott garnered an NCAA Division I All-Independent selection while finishing 15th in the nation in three-point field goal accuracy. Before arriving at IPFW, Jasick was a member of the coaching staff at Middle Tennessee State University. In the 2004-05 season at MTSU, he helped the Blue Raiders to 19 wins and coached Mike Dean and Michael Cuffee to All-Sun Belt Conference selections. He was responsible for video coordination, player academic progress, and community service projects. Jasick began his career as a volunteer assistant at the University of North Alabama in the Gulf South Conference. Coach Jasick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology Education from Mars Hill College in 2000. He then obtained his Masters in Education degree from Lincoln Memorial University in 2002. Tony and his wife Melissa, are proud parents of daughters Rohen Marie and Reece Brandt and reside in Fort Wayne. |
