2007-08 Season
First season for David Carson after transferring from Oakland University. Carson made an instant impact for the Mastodons.

Carson played in 22 games after joining the team in late December, starting 18. Gave the `Dons a second presence in the paint. Scored an IPFW career-high 23 points against IUPUI on Feb. 23. Also dropped in 22 points vs. Western Illinois that same weekend on Feb. 21. During that two game stretch, Carson hit 15 field goals. Registered a season-high field goal shooting percentage of 70.0 against Western Illinois. Hit a season-high two 3-pointers at Oakland on Feb. 16. Made a career-high 12 free throws at Southern Utah on Mar. 3. He was perfect from the line twice in the `07-`08 season, 4-4 vs. Centenary at the Memorial Coliseum on Jan. 12 and 4-4 at Oakland on Feb. 16.

Carson pulled down a season-high 11 rebounds against North Dakota State on Feb. 2. He also hauled in double-digit boards (10) at Centenary on Feb. 7. Dished out a season-high four assists on two occasions, Jan. 12 vs. Centenary and Mar. 9 vs. Southern Utah in IPFW's 66-62 Summit League Quarterfinal win.
For the season, Carson shot 37.7 percent from the floor (80-212). He was 10-44 from behind the arc (22.7%) and was accurate on 71.4 percent of his attempts from the free throw line.

David averaged 11.4 points a game which ranked second on the Mastodons (Jaraun Burrows, 13.9 ppg.) Carson averaged 5.4 rebounds a game which was also second best on the team (Burrows 6.4 rpg.).

He handed out 33 assists while blocking seven shots. he also had 14 steals.

Carson led IPFW in rebounding in six games in 2007-08. He also led the team three times in blocks, and twice in assists and steals.

2006-07 Season
Carson sat out the 2006-07 season after transferring to IPFW at mid-semester.

2005-06 Season
Carson played in 32 games at Oakland University in his sophomore year. He started two of those contests.

He shot 42.2 percent from the floor (49-116) and was 30.8 percent from behind the 3-point arc (4-13). Carson was hit on 60.0 percent of his attempts from the free throw line (27-45).

He hauled down 54 rebounds (1.7 rpg), dished out 19 assists, blocked 13 shots, and had 12 steals. He averaged 4.0 points a contest.

2004-05 Season
Carson averaged 6.0 points and 2.7 rebounds a game his freshman season at Oakland University.

He hit on 42.3 percent (60-142) from the floor and 44.2 percent (23-52) from 3-point land. Carson also handed out 28 assists, had six takeaways, and rejected nine shots.

An honoralbe All-State mention at Anrean High School, David is the son of David and Marjorie Carson. He is an Organizational Leadership and Supervision major at IPFW.
