2012 Season...
Played in 31 games with 21 starts… Hit .208 (16-for-77) with one double and one home run giving him two RBI’s on the year… Scored seven runs and recorded 20 total bases… Posted an on-base percentage of .299 and a slugging percentage of .260… Walked 10 times during the season and also stole one base… Recorded 84 putouts while making four assists… Hit .229 (8-for-35) in Summit League action… Hit his first home run of the season after going 2-for-3 from the plate at Western Illinois (May 6)… Lone double of the year came at Southern Utah (April 20)… Scored a season-high three runs against the Thunderbirds going 2-for-3 from the plate… Went 2-for-4 at Southern Illinois.

Before Coming to IPFW...
Mike Mugg came to IPFW after playing for head coach Larry Windmiller at nearby Bishop Dwenger. Mugg hit .411 with 8 home runs and 35 RBI in 2010. His home run and RBI totals were tops on the team. Mugg was the starting third baseman for the Saints, who were eliminated from post season play with a 5-4 loss to New Haven. In that game, Mugg had a solo home run. Mugg was named First-Team All-SAC in 2009 and 2010. He was also named a North All-Star and an All-State Honorable Mention.
