Mike Mugg came to IPFW after playing for head coach Larry Windmiller at nearby Bishop Dwenger. Mugg hit .411 with 8 home runs and 35 RBI in 2010. His home run and RBI totals were tops on the team. Mugg was the starting third baseman for the Saints, who were eliminated from post season play with a 5-4 loss to New Haven. In that game, Mugg had a solo home run. Mugg was named First-Team All-SAC in 2009 and 2010. He was also named a North All-Star and an All-State Honorable Mention.
