Women’s Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The IPFW women's soccer team has announced its 2016 spring schedule, which includes a single home date at the Hefner Soccer Complex. The Mastodons will see up to 12 matches during the spring slate with five days of competition.
IPFW will begin the spring season at Northern Illinois University on Saturday, February 27 in the third annual NIU Indoor Tournament. The competition will be three group stage matches against the NIU Alumni-Red (10:40 a.m.), University of St. Francis (Ill.) (2 p.m.) and Ripon College (3:40 p.m.), followed by semi-final matches at 4:30 p.m. and a championship match at 5:20 p.m.
The remaining four dates will be played in April, beginning on the Sunday the 3rd in Ada, Ohio, when the Blue and White face off against both Tiffin University (12:30 p.m.) and Ohio Northern University (2 p.m.). The 'Dons will continue their road matches when they head to Indianapolis on Sunday, April 10 to play Marian University (Ind.) at 2:00 p.m. Their last "road" contests of the spring will come on Saturday, April 16 in Fort Wayne, where the University of Saint Francis is hosting multiple matches throughout the day. The 'Dons will start the day on the field against USF (11 a.m.) and play immediately after that contest facing Indiana Tech (noon). IPFW will finish the day with the 2015 NAIA National Champions, Spring Arbor University at 2 p.m.
The women's soccer team wraps up their spring season with a pair of home contests on Saturday, April 23 at Hefner Soccer Field where they will see Siena Heights University at noon and the University of Northwestern Ohio at 4 p.m.
Admission to all matches this spring are free and open to all fans and supporters.
