Women's Basketball to Host Eighth Annual Pink Out Event

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The IPFW women's basketball team will host North Dakota State on Saturday, February 21 at the Gates Sports Center as part of the 8th Annual Pink Out Event. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to support breast cancer awareness.
The 8th Annual Pink Out Event will begin with a pre-game luncheon at 12:00 p.m. in the International Ballroom, located in the Athletics Center on the IPFW campus. Gina Glaros from WANE TV will be the emcee at the luncheon that will be honoring breast cancer survivors. Those breast cancer survivors that pre-register will receive free admission to the luncheon, the game, and will also receive a free gift.
Luncheon tickets for the general public are available for $20 per person and group ticket discounts are also available. $1 from every ticket sold will benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
The women's basketball game between IPFW and North Dakota State will begin at 2 p.m. An on-court ceremony to honor breast cancer survivors will be held during halftime of the game.
