Reboulet Signs Contract With Joliet Slammers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Former IPFW right handed pitcher Travis Reboulet has signed a professional contract with the Joliet Slammers to continue his baseball career in 2014.
The Slammers are a member of the 14-team Independent Frontier League. The league is composed of teams from Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri and Pennsylvania.
Reboulet made 16 appearances last season for IPFW, working 37.1 innings being primarily used out of the bullpen. He finished the season with a 2.41 ERA to go along with a 2-2 record and was tied for the team lead with three saves.
The Fishers, Ind. native joins former teammate Chuck Weaver who signed with the Florence Freedom at the conclusion of last season. Weaver posted a 4-2 record with the Freedom last year with a 3.69 ERA in 14 appearances, including 12 starts.
The Slammers begin their season on May 16 when they take on the Southern Illinois Minors.
