
Women's Basketball Adds Two to Staff

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - IPFW head coach Chris Paul has added two members to his coaching staff, Marcie Alberts and Anna Patritto.
Alberts, a former head coach at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, spent five season with the Student Princes, after coaching for seven years at Orrville High School. While at Heidelberg she handled all aspects of coaching including on-court coaching, recruiting, game plans, fund raising, scheduling, scheduling of travel, and community service.
A four-year letterwinner at Ohio State, and an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection in 1997, she played for the now-defunct Cleveland Rockers of the WNBA. She received a bachelor of science degree from Ohio State, and a master's degree in recreation administration from Toledo.
Patritto, a former student-athlete at Oakland, has spent the last two years as the women's basketball graduate assistant at Michigan State University. While there, she helped in the breakdown of opponent's game film, and coordinated plans with the director of basketball operations for road trips. She also oversaw 12 managers in daily basketball operations, and orchestrated activities and managers for weekend football recruiting tailgates.
A four-year letterwinner with the Golden Grizzlies, she was a team captain her senior year. She ended her career with 529 points and 350 rebounds, while also dishing out 196 assists, and was a member of the Summit League All-Academic Team as a senior.
