John begins his first year as the Athletic Media Services graduate assistant. He will be the primary media contact for women's soccer, men's golf, and men's and women's tennis.

John graduated in 2008 from Indiana University-Bloomington with a degree in sports communications while minoring in telecommunications.

While in Bloomington, he worked for Inside Indiana Magazine as an intern basketball recruiting columnist. Additionally he wrote for BasketballBeat.com during the winter of 2006-07.

He is currently working towards his master's degree in professional communications at IPFW.

He resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
