Fort Wayne, IN - Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance Abbie Renaker has taken a new position at the NCAA Headquarters and will leave IPFW on June 15th.

Renaker will start at the NCAA on June 25th in Indianapolis. She came to IPFW in May of 2004.

Renaker has accepted the position of Assistant Director of Membership Services. In her new position she will be responsible for serving the membership through interpretations, Athletics Certification, Incidental and ARS waivers, CAi software, DII blueprint program and as a conference contact.

"It has been my career goal to work at the NCAA and I'm absolutely thrilled about the opportunity to work in college athletics at the national level." said Renaker. "I want to thank Chancellor Michael A. Wartell and Athletic Director Mark Pope for their support the past three years. I want to wish IPFW Athletics luck as it enters the Summit League conference in 2007-08. It has been my pleasure to serve the student-athletes, coaches, and staff at IPFW."

Lauren Wilson, the Compliance Assistant, will serve as Interim Compliance Coordinator until after the new Athletic Director is hired.
